How your authenticity score works
What we evaluate
Score bands
9.0 – 10.0
Highly Authentic
Clear creator with established niche. High quality original content. Real, substantive engagement. No red flags.
7.0 – 8.9
Authentic
Genuine creator with good content and mostly real engagement. Minor flags might exist but are outweighed by positive signals.
5.0 – 6.9
Uncertain
Mixed signals. Could be a real creator with limited data, or an account with some concerning patterns. We'd rather be honest than guess.
3.0 – 4.9
Likely Inauthentic
Unclear creator identity. Mostly generic engagement. Promotional behavior that doesn't align with a real niche.
0.0 – 2.9
Inauthentic
No original content of value. Bot-like engagement patterns. Evidence of coordinated artificial activity.
Signals
✓ We don't penalize
- Low posting volume — three great posts beat thirty empty ones
- New accounts — account age alone doesn't cap your score
- Promoting your own project — founders are expected to talk about what they're building
- Some generic replies — everyone says "GM" sometimes
✗ What hurts your score
- No original content — if your timeline is only retweets and reactions
- Generic engagement patterns — mostly low-effort replies
- Billboard behavior — promoting unrelated projects across categories
- Artificial engagement — same small group always replying in the same patterns
Confidence levels
High Confidence
Plenty of data, consistent signals. Your score reflects your actual creator quality.
Medium Confidence
Some mixed signals. Your score is in the right range but could shift with more data.
Low Confidence
Not enough data to judge fairly. Your score is capped — we won't give an unearned high score, but we won't penalize you either.

How to improve your score
There's no trick. The system rewards being a real creator.
01Create original content in your area of expertise. Threads, insights, tutorials, opinions with substance.
02Engage meaningfully. Reply to people with actual thoughts, not just reactions.
03Stay in your lane. Promote projects you genuinely use and believe in.
04Be consistent. You don't need to post daily, but a regular presence builds stronger signal.
Your score updates based on your last 60 days of activity.
